As far as short stories go, this one is simple, straight to the point and engaging. The author pulls you into the mind of 28-year-old Kade, who suffers from agoraphobia, a disorder that has caused him to detach himself from his reality, ultimately making him a prisoner in his own home.

This story did a good job in depicting someone suffering from a mental illness. Those fifteen steps may seem like a little, but for someone like Kade, it's a giant leap. His anxiety comes across well. Very authentic portrayl, I thought. Loved the writing style. I would definitely consider reading more work from this author.

I love the book cover. It's very fitting for the story. A very enjoyable read.
