MY REVIEW
A jolly good read. I thoroughly enjoyed the short adventure. The story has a very positive message that teaches kids about establishing their independence under the guidance of a parent. The illustrations were great and they could easily reveal the plot without the prose. Rhyming schemes are always tricky and not easy to pull off and I was glad to see that it wasn't overdone in this book. I tried to overlook the punctuation flaws, but it was a little hard to do for it interrupted the pacing and smooth flow of the story for me.
Overall, this book is definitely worth the read.
