Review Policy

I welcome review requests for YA and Middle-Grade books, but I prefer to choose the books I read. As such, I may not approve all requests unless the books genuinely intrigue me.

No physical books; only Kindle or PDF. I will consider indie/self-published books if they meet professional editing and cover standards.

Submission Period:

Review requests are accepted from January 1 to March 31 and July 1 to September 30.

Rating System:

    

5 Stars: Had me at hello

4 Stars: Ticks most boxes

3 Stars: Worth the read

2 Stars: Not for me

1 Star: Hard pass

Submission Guidelines:

Email your request to cbybookclub [at] gmail [dot] com with:

1. Book synopsis, genre and Amazon link.
2. For digital ARCs, include the publication date and a sample.

Due to high email volume, I will only respond to requests I'm interested in. Acceptance does not guarantee a review. Reviews will be published within 2-6 weeks of receiving the book, though this may vary.

Contest Policy

For Giveaway Providers:

• Send prizes directly to winners.
• Winners' information will be emailed for distribution purposes.
• Contests promoted on my website and social media.

For Giveaway Entrants:

• Open to ages 13+ or with parental permission.
• Winners contacted via email; they have 48 hours to claim their prize.
• Personal information will not be shared.

I reserve the right to modify or end giveaways as needed.

This policy is effective from July 24, 2020. I do not accept payment for reviews; all opinions are my own. Some links may be affiliate links, earning me a small commission at no extra cost to you.

I may participate in affiliate programs, including Amazon Associates, which allows me to earn fees by linking to Amazon products.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important. I do not collect personal information unless necessary for contests. I do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Any required addresses for prize distribution will be deleted after use.
