BOTM - The Boy Who Lost His Sight by Bellaaa_

The Boy Who Lost His Sight

Ellie Burke is just this simple town girl, who will never look at the wrong way about anyone. Moving to Florida means everything to her — she could turn over a new leaf, start a new life, and get the chance to actually be someone —and not just this useless nerdy girl.

Everything's going well for her until she meets this boy in her English class —  and he's the most interesting, unique person Ellie has ever met.

The boy who lost his sight.

She's going to fight  for what her heart wants every step of the way. This is Ellie's story, and it's going to be one bumpy, complicated romance that's nothing like the fairy tales say. A story of hope, trust and what true love really means.

Interview

1. Please tell the readers a bit about yourself.

My name's Bella. I'm eighteen so right now I'm studying in a local university here, in Malaysia. I love reading and writing and I have the soft spot for pink.

2. What types of books do you write?

Well, for now, I have only written teen fiction and romance books. Although, I think my real interests are actually fantasy or sci-fi with a little mix of romance. I wish I have the capability to write in those two genres, though.

3. How many books have you written?

There are two completed ones and 1243858506845849 uncompleted stories in my head, my notebook, my laptop and my sticky notes.

4. What movie and/or book are you looking forward to this year?

In 2013, I really, really can't wait for Catching Fire to be out. The trailer looks incredibly promising. While for the year 2014, I can't wait for Divergent! Also, I'm excited to read Allegiant!

5. What type of books do you enjoy reading?

Fantasy with a little mix of romance. I love a story which has a strong female character, like, Tris from Divergent or even, Clary from TMI series. They're literally perfect and the authors of the books are incredibly talented. I also read some of the books written by Sarah Dessen (Along for the Ride) and John Green (The Fault in Our Stars). Those two are the queen and the king of Teen Fiction. Serious talk.

6. If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you want with you?

1. My laptop.
2. A fridge which has unlimited food.
3. And Max Irons.

7. Are you considering a sequel?

Not at all. I think a sequel would spoil the whole story.

8. What inspired you to become a writer?

A local Malaysian artist named Yuna. She's a Malaysian but she writes and sings her songs in the English language. Now, she's been signed to an international label record and her songs are played all over the world. I think her achievement is really inspiring. She's proven to me that nothing is impossible if you have the will to succeed.
