MY REVIEW

Princess Danielle loves nothing more than to cook up mouth-watering meals, but all her mother wants is a daughter that follows in her footsteps and follows the path of a traditional princess, and her dream is for her daughter to be a ballerina.

This is a heartwarming story with a good message for children: believe in yourself and always follow your heart. Despite her mother's persistenc, Princess Danielle stays true to herself and proves that her dreams are worth fighting for.

I did love the colouful illustration, but I thought Princess Danielle looked a little too mature in the face in most of the pictures. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the book.
