1. What inspired you to want to become a writer?
I was inspired to become a writer, because I wanted to read books about people like me. Women who love God, but also love Fashion and not afraid the admit they like looking at Good-looking men.

2. Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
My most rewarding experience since being published, was my first fan email. I was elated to know there were readers like me.

3. If you could have a signed copy of any novel what would it be and why?
What signed book would I like to have in my library? That’s a good question. It’s difficult to narrow all my favorites down to just one book. It would be awesome to have every book in my library signed. A signed book is very personal, it’s like you’re connected to the author.

4. If you could have any superpower what would you choose?
If I could chose a superpower, it would have to be time travel. Not the kind that moves me from year to year, but the one that would zap me to places so I wouldn’t have to drive and could sleep in.
5. Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
You should read this book because it’s good. Just kidding. You should read my book because it’s a different kind of love story.
6. Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?
I have a couple of books in the works. I just finished my first novella, “The Good Girl”, due out in June. I’m also putting the finish on my next full length novel, “The Alex Chronicles: What My Friends Don’t Know”, for Summer. Funny thing about The Alex book, it’s the first book I wrote. Generational Curse, was the third book I wrote. It was my mother’s idea to launch my writing career with Generational Curse.
There are at least three other books in the works. The follow up to Generational Curse. I started it and it’s a little more intense, possibly steamier than book one. It deals with Kyla’s sister and she’s something else. I’m almost done with the second installment of The Alex Chronicles and I just started the second novella for The Good Girl.

7. Do you write as you go or do you have the book planned before you start the first draft?
The only thing I plan before I start a book is, the beginning and a rough ending. I am a “pantser.” I like letting the characters talk to me.
8. What movie and/or book are you looking forward to this year?
Movies at the top of my list are anything with Idris Elba. Second on my list, Fast and Furious 7, the next Avengers installment and The Age of Adaline.
9. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
I know it’s cliche, if I could live anywhere in the world, it would be Paris or Tuscany.
10. Can you see yourself in any of your characters?
I see myself in all of my characters. I put a little of me in all the characters, even the men.

ReplyDeleteYes, curses can be real and difficult sometimes to detect since they manifest out through our own personality/ego causing us to act in unbecoming ways, be self-destructive, self-sabotaging, make poor decisions, experience lack and poor health which lead us to a string of failed relationships and jobs.i use to act this because a curse was placed on my and a friend of mine at the office introduced me to a spell caster who helped me with the removal of the curse and i was totally free.
