Being Recruited

Emma Lamark, a normal teenager was living a normal life. But as everyone has problems in life even she had. Betrayed by her boyfriend she was completely broken. She didn’t know what to do or how to handle herself.

Gradually she started forgetting what had happened. But again her life took a stupefied turn. One night while coming home from a party she was attacked by a stranger.

He was tall and muscular. Emma could not notice anything much in the darkness of night except his sparkling blue eyes.

She was about to scream but her mouth was quickly been covered. The stranger leaned down to her ear and whispered something that had Emma frozen to the spot. The words struck her as lightening.

Those words kept replaying in her mind....

“You are being RECRUITED.”

By the tone of the stranger she knew that this was no kind of joke and there was no escape. But why was she  being recruited?

Why her? Will this recruitment change her life? Or would it be worst?

This, only time can tell.

2. Lighter
3. Compass

7. Are you considering a sequel?

It's too early to say since my first book isn't completed. Why not surprise the readers?

8. What inspired you to become a writer?

When I am sitting idle, I start imagining things. So one day I thought why not pen them down? Then I came across Wattpad, which gave me an opportunity to express my thoughts and views, hence my inspiration. Well, my greatest inspirations are all those writers out there who have written amazing books!

Excerpt

I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. He thought I was weird when he was the one being nervous. I came to a halt. “Actually, I am laughing at you.”

His mouth formed a big ‘O’. Seconds passed and realizing hit him. “Wait, what?!”

“Why are you laughing at me?”

“Because you are nervous.”

“I am not.”

I raised an eyebrow at him. He turned and faced towards the ocean. Minutes passed by and no one spoke. We stood there in comfortable silence. Finally he broke the silence without looking at me. “Emma, I am glad that I made you laugh after you cried.” He smiled at me. It wasn’t his usual smirk but a genuine smile. My heart skipped a beat. I don’t know what possessed me but I pulled his face down and crashed my lips to his. I forgot about our fight earlier. I forgot him yelling at me and me slapping him. I forgot everything and concentrated on the kiss.

The kissed was slow void of lust. His lips were soft and felt so good against mine. He snaked his arms around my waist pulling me closer. My one arm was around his neck and the other playing with his hair. They were so soft that I grabbed a fistful if his hair. He gently bit my bottom lip earning a moan from me. He smiled against my lips.

We pulled apart grasping for air. We were breathing heavily. After catching our breathes I whispered, “Thank you.”

“Pleasure is all mine,” he winked.

After a long time I was content and happy. And it was all because of Alex. He might not be that bad as I imagined he would. I would like to know more about this guy. He might be a player but he has a friendly aura around him.
