About the Author
S.D. Thomas has a B.A. in Journalism from Penn State University, and has always enjoyed creative writing. It wasn’t until after heartbreak that she accepted God’s calling and began writing according to His Word. She’s the co-founder of Coffee With Christ, a bi-monthly blog regarding topics and stories from the Bible. She is an avid reader, coffee enthusiast and studies her Bible daily, doing her best to live her life as a disciple of Christ. She lives with her husband and their fur baby in West Virginia.

      The characters morphed from another YA read that kind of left me unsettled on how the author left the question of eternity. I kept having dreams about that series, but those characters changed in the dreams to Mark & Cassie. At a later date, I realized I'd written a story in high school (15 years prior) similar to these characters, with these names. I guess 'they' were just meant to come out! I can say Cassie has a lot of the same insecurities and indecisiveness I have. Mark is kind of the dream guy that loves God and has his life together- until you see him up close and realize he's flawed like all of us. Great question- thank you!
