MY REVIEW

A very cute picture book with wonderful illustrations. Young Bobby isn't too keen on going to bed because of the all the noisy monsters who like playing tricks on him. His mum reassures him that they mean him no harm and that they're just having fun with him.

What I especially liked about this book was the not-so-usual approach the author takes when it comes to reassuring kids about monsters. It was nice to see this light-hearted approach. Instead of telling Bobby that monsters aren't real, his mum decides to teach him how to deal with things that are out of his control and how to see things from different points of view.

A good bedtime story for all kids.
