There is only one celebrity that I wrote a character
for. That celebrity is *drumroll* BETTY WHITE. I adore her and I wrote the part of Esther White in
the book for her. I realize that Betty is getting up there in years, so I
started a tongue in cheek campaign to keep Betty White healthy. Here is the

I think Archie Hunt (Charlie’s Grandfather) should
be played by Graham Greene from Dances
with Wolves. Emme’s Grandfather, Grandpa Ed, and his friend Oscar
Hines should be played by Robert Duvall for Grandpa Ed and Tommy Lee Jones for
Oscar Hines. Grandpa Ed will be around for the rest of the series and Oscar
Hines will be in flashbacks. I think it would be cool to reunite the Lonesome
Dove co-stars.
Scott Belrose, Emme’s father, well I’m kind of torn.
I like Rick Schroder, but well would Brad Pitt just be too sexy for the part?
Please say no! I really am wishing now!
Angelina Jolie would make a great Josephine Grayson.
Might as well have the couple together on set.
I’m
saving the kids for the last.
I think Emme, Charlie, Ollie, Bets, Lilly and Jack should all be portrayed by relative newcomers. I want them to be the character and not recognized for another part they played in a different movie or show.
