BOTM - Meeting Ellie by Kylekay

Meeting Ellie

Ellie Coleman comes from the poor side of town. When she becomes best friends with Knox Hendrix, quarterback at Ole Miss and the pride of Stanford her life changes. Used to being ignored by the town and her parents she finds herself opening up to Knox and his family. When Knox has to leave for school he asks her to go with him. Ellie refuses after a talk with his mother that destroys her illusion of her friends acceptance of her. She leaves to make it on her own, sick of her parents and her home town.

Four years pass and she fights her way to get a job as an intern at ESPN television, while studying journalism at a local college. When Knox comes to the station for an interview he sees the girl who ran away with his heart. When she sees him she ignores the pain of his betrayal  does her job. What happens when she discovers that the thing that kept them apart for four years was a lie?

Interview

1. Please tell the readers a bit about yourself.

I'm twenty-eight years old and married with two boys, James is two and Declan in one. They are my world, but when I need to escape just for a minute I write.

2. What types of books do you write?

I write romances. I just started a werewolf story, but it's basically a love story.

3. How many books have you written?

I have three finished works: Fighter, The Deal and Meeting Ellie and three I'm currently working on: Loving Blackmail, Wanting Jocelyn and Emery's Story.

4. What movie and/or book are you looking forward to this year?

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie!!! Although, I think it comes out next year...

5. What type of books do you enjoy reading?

I enjoy romances the most, but I love a good thriller every now and then.

6. If you were stranded on a desert island what 3 things would you want with you?

1. Chocolate...I seriously can't live without it.
2. A trunk full of books.
3. Bedding, I want to be comfy.

7. Are you considering a sequel?

I have gotten requests, but I feel like it would be forced. I have a ton of other stories I rather be writing. When I figure out the whole plot line I may write it.

8. What inspired you to become a writer?

Honestly, I was reading a horrible story on wattpad and I just thought maybe I should try to write an enjoyable story. I started Fighter and I haven't stopped writing since. I think it's the comments that keep me going, without them I wouldn't have an incentive to write.
