Mary in many ways is perfect, but Marty is anything but. Rebecca also has a sister who is getting ready for a wedding and having a breakdown.

One of my backgrounds is in writing for radio and screen and I love creating conversations with their own unique twists and turns. It's fun for me.

Cheers!Scott Southardhttp://sdsouthard.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4003938051771171981.post-37405477734817190232015-05-13T15:04:19.749+00:002015-05-13T15:04:19.749+00:00I like the excerpt. In many ways, the book was created for book clubs, with a lot of interesting surprises, characters, and literary references included.
Cheers!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03778981934609042264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4003938051771171981.post-88436337203337716562015-05-13T13:46:08.075+00:002015-05-13T13:46:08.075+00:00Hi! I used to go to sleep each night just listening to Charlie Parker; I would spend days trying to figure out how Coltrane did something on his tenor.
The funny thing is actually I got into college on a jazz scholarship. The problem is I began to discover I had little to say on the horn. I felt like I was repeating myself a lot. Of course, with my writing I never had that problem.
Sadly, I don't pick up the saxophone enough these days, but music usually always finds a way to sneak into my books.
