Strong wind was blowing making it hard for Sophiana to walk ahead. She struggled to escape from this place. She knew where she was. It was the same lake whose vision she saw from window of her room. But it was totally opposite of what she saw. It was a horrible image of that beautiful scenery. If compared, that was beauty and this was beast.

The waters of lake were looking black in colour, water spirals could be seen in the middle. The waters behaved like some monster has come alive to destroy the world.

The trees were violently shaking with the wind. One look at the trees and you feel a haunted feeling.

There was no sound other than the water being violent and the trees shaking.

As far as she could, she saw no human out there. She felt alone and helpless, also afraid of unknown.

A little later, she heard a hustling between the bushes near her and it scared her more. Very slowly, she turned towards it and saw what left her screaming.

Two red eyes stared her back, growling. This enormous creature was ready to pounce any second. It looked very angry.

Sophiana could not see the body of the creature except his scary red eyes and ferocious growling long canines because of the dark night.

Sophiana didn’t know what to do. She didn’t have the time to react because that creature pounced on her body. She felt down because of the heavy weight of the creature. She opened her eyes and saw the two red eyes close to her and the creature launched forward to her face.
